VON PROMISES TO ASSIST PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY OFFICE ON GLOBAL INFORMATION DISSEMINATION

Amnesty Reintegrates 220 Ex-Militants in Aquaculture (fish farming).

The Presidential Amnesty Programme is reintegrating 220 ex-militants in Aquaculture (fish farming) in Patani, Delta State. The beneficiaries are to be empowered within the next one week to enable them sustainably integrate back into society. The beneficiaries, in a group of twenty two each are being given a total of 420, 000 fingerlings to start this great and sustainable aquaculture project.

The Presidential Amnesty Office is harmonizing its partnerships with strategic development ministries and agencies towards fast-tracking the reintegration of reformed former agitators into civil life.

Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme Brigadier General Paul Boroh (Rtd) stepped up this campaign with a courtesy visit to the office of the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Pastor Usani Uhuru Usani.
