President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointment of Professor Charles Quaker Dokubo as Special Adviser on Niger Delta Affairs and Coordinator, Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) in March, is perhaps the most cheery news this year for the people of Niger Delta. It demonstrated the President’s commitment to turn around the sad narrative of a long deprived and impoverished oil-rich region, using the Amnesty Programme as a purveyor.

DOKUBO URGES NIGER DELTA LEADERS AGAINST SELFISH INTERESTS

 

Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs (SAPND) and

Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Prof. Charles Quaker

Dokubo, has urged leaders and elders of the Niger Delta not to pursue

individual interests, but offer him advice and guidance that would

benefit the people of the region.

Boubini Jones-Wonni, as best graduating student from Miles College Metropolitan Birmingham, Alabama, United States of America, USA.

 

The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme receives report from the Review Committee after the fact findings.
