Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro Bags Another Award Of Excellence
The management of the Delta State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ofuoma-Ughelli, has bestowed the Award of Honorary Fellow of the College on the dynamic Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro, in recognition of his ‘Consolidation of Peace & Development in the Niger Delta’.
Dr Otuaro was conferred with the award at the 8th Convocation Ceremony of the College held at its sports complex on Saturday, 31 January, 2026.
The letter conveying the honour on the PAP Administrator was signed by the College Registrar, Nomuoja Charles.
The recognition underscores Dr Otuaro’s excellent performance in office and unwavering commitment to education, peace, security and development of the Niger Delta through his strategic stakeholders engagement and deployment of PAP scholarship beneficiaries to reputable onshore and offshore universities, particularly in the United Kingdom, and equipping them with laptops to enhance their studies.
The award also highlights Dr Otuaro’s focus on industry-relevant programmes of study covering medical and health sciences, cyber security, artificial intelligence, quantity surveying, advanced structural engineering, data science, financial tech, international law and security, construction and civil engineering management, project management, and ICT, among others.
The conferment is another feather in the cap of Dr Otuaro, who has received several awards in recognition of his selfless service to society and humanity.
