PAP Scholarship 1

The OSAPND (Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Administrator Presidential Amnesty Programme), through its Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), offers scholarships aimed at reintegrating ex-agitators and individuals from impacted communities by building human capacity relevant to the Niger Delta. As part of this effort, undergraduate students will be bonded for a period of one year to serve the Niger Delta community.
Eligibility Criteria (General for 2025/2026):
● Applicants must be registered beneficiaries of the PAP (ex-agitators or from impacted communities). ● For undergraduate programs, applicants must have sat for the 2025 UTME or be new entrants into 100 level programs for the 2025/2026 academic session. ● For Master's programs, applicants must be new entrants into Master's studies for the 2025/2026 academic session. ● A valid UTME result is required for the 2025/2026 academic session. ● A minimum UTME score is usually required (e.g., typically around 200 or as specified by PAP). ● Awaiting results for WAEC or NECO exams are not allowed. ● Successful applicants may be required to undertake a written aptitude test and oral interview. ● Recipients must maintain a minimum average CGPA (e.g., 2.5 over 5.0 or 2.0 over 4.0 for undergraduate) to remain on the scholarship. ● Recipients must not be involved in any act of misconduct or contravene PAP's regulations. ● The scholarship covers: o Tuition fees. o Accommodation. o Monthly In-Training-Allowance (ITA) and Book Allowance.
How to Apply: ● Applications are made through a dedicated online portal: https://scholarship.osapnd.gov.ng ● Applicants need to create an account. ● Fill out the application form, upload all the required documents and submit. ● THE APPLICATION PROCESS IS FREE. Required Documents: ● Application Form ● Extant O/L results ● UTME Result (specifically 2025/2026 UTME result ONLY) ● Local Government (L.G.A) Letter of Identification ● Birth Certificate/Age Declaration (for undergraduate) ● Letter of Admission (for undergraduate: optional) For Postgraduate Studies (Master's): ● In addition to the undergraduate documents, the following are required: o Statement of Result or Degree Certificate o NYSC Certificate (for Master's) ● For Masters, if you were already a beneficiary of PAP scholarship, you must have graduated with a First-Class or First-Class-Upper degree to be considered. Sponsorship for Master’s degree is discretionary and dependent on funds.
